Jewelry Contest Rules                    Call for Entries for Necklace Contest June 5-7, 2009 at 9 PM eastern.

 

The Cash Prize:  $5.00 sent via Paypal.

Additional Awards:  

 

A custom-made, web-publishable logo that can be added to your web site and auctions,

“Winner by Acclaim, Lampwork Jewelry Hall of Flame”  

A place in the Lampwork Jewelry Hall of Flame, the contest entry picture of the winning piece, your name and title of the piece.

 

Enter:

1. Email your best photo of your favorite work featuring artist made lampwork in an attached file to ContestEntries@LaurieByrneSmith.com

 

2. Extensions include .JPG and .JPEG, file should be no larger than 80 kilobytes and photo should be no larger than 640x640.

 

3. Please include name and current email.

 

4. First 50 entrants (time determined by when it was emailed, but only if other requirements are followed) will be posted, voted on determine the next voting level.

 

5. After the second voting, the semi-finalists will be determined and posted for voting.

 

6. Five finalists will then be posted and voting opened.  After five days of voting, the winner will be determined and announced the next day.

 

Categories: Each category is an individual contest. They will run consecutively.

Bracelets

Necklaces

Earrings

Other Adornments (include anything that can worn)

Decor (Candlesticks, Pens, Office and Desk Supplies, Christmas ornaments)

 

General Rules:

1. Must contain artist made Lampwork. No production-made, imported Lampwork. The contest is open to any jewelry maker or lampworker of any nationality, but the Lampwork must be original and artist-made.  (Cash prize will be by awarded via Paypal and exchange rates and fees will be assumed by recipient.)

 

2. Title your work. (Green Bracelet is fine with me, if you like it and think it will make your work memorable)

 

3. This contest is for the creator, not the owner. If the jewelry piece you own was made by someone else, please inform them about this contest, and have them enter the work.

 

4. All rights to photos revert back to entrant. However, the winner’s photo will be moved to the Hall of Flame for posterity. An entry to this contest is an agreement that you allow your photo to remain on the web site should you win.

 

5. If you send me the jewelry, I will assume it’s a gift and keep it. Address is on the Contact page.
